CLUCK AND DAGGER AT KWEKWE COURT! Black chicken sparks panic and juju whispers

FEATHERS flew and tongues wagged when a mysterious black chicken donning a red scarf strutted into the Kwekwe Magistrates Court yard like it owned the joint!
Onlookers couldn’t believe their eyes as the bold bird flapped its way into the heart of the justice system last Monday, sending court staff and visitors into a frenzy. Some reached for their phones to capture the bizarre moment, while others clutched their collars in fear of a possible juju mission gone fowl.
Whispers of witchcraft, court rituals, and “case-fixing chickens” echoed through the corridors as the curious clucker loitered around, completely unbothered by the chaos it had caused.
“It was just there… calm, confident. Like it was sent for something spiritual,” said a court official, requesting anonymity. “We honestly don’t know whether it strayed in or someone left it there to win a case through dark means.”
The bird, described as unusually poised and almost human-like, vanished without a trace the following day. It left only fear, confusion, and wild speculation in its wake.
Some believe it simply got lost. Others say it was a muti messenger, dropped off to tip the scales of justice in someone’s favour. One observer even joked, “Maybe it had a pending case and came to file its papers!”
The incident has thrown Kwekwe into a cluck-filled panic with superstitious tongues recalling a similar shocker last month in Gweru when a swarm of locusts brought court proceedings to a halt.
Whether it was a rogue hen, a spiritual spy, or a bewitched bird on a mission, Kwekwe court got its most egg-citing case yet and it didn’t even need a docket!
