'Donald certainly knew': Trump biographer reveals new evidence of intimate ties to Epstein
One of Donald Trump's biographers shared some intimate details on Sunday about Trump's relationship with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Michael Wolff, author of "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," joined Trump's former attorney, Michael Cohen, on his podcast "Mea Culpa" to discuss the latest developments in the Epstein saga. On Thursday, the Wall Street Journal published a blockbuster report detailing a "bawdy" letter Trump allegedly sent to Epstein for his 50th birthday.
"Epstein would often recount his experiences with women, hunting women, pursuing women, with Trump," Wolff told Cohen. "Incuding, at one point, they shared a girlfriend for the better part of a year."
Wolff's comments come at a time when Trump is attempting to distance himself from the Epstein case altogether. He has personally called MAGA influencers to tell them to stop talking about the Epstein files. Trump has also attacked parts of his base that continue to care about the Epstein files as "stupid" and "weaklings."
However, Wolff explained that Trump and Epstein knew each other very well. He added that Trump and Epstein traveled together on multiple occasions.
"Donald certainly knew what was going on at Epstein's house," Wolff said. "In fact, I have seen pictures, a set of Polaroid pictures, that Epstein would sometimes display, of Donald Trump prior to 2004 at Epstein's Palm Beach [Florida] house around the pool with young girls."
Wolff also explained that some of the people in Trump's political orbit also bonded with Epstein over their disdain for Trump.
"[Steve Bannon] bonded with Jeffrey Epstein about this, because they both had this experience, and they both thought they knew more than anybody about who Donald Trump really was," Wolff said.
