Severe storms tear through East and Midwest with high winds, floods and giant hail

Storms over the weekend sent roofs flying in Maine, caused major flooding near Washington, D.C., and shattered windshields with softball-sized hail in Nebraska. Emergency crews responded to more than 100 water rescues in Maryland alone.
