Pumpkin Spice Latte Returns to Starbucks Sooner Than You Think. Here's When
Starbucks is undergoing a few noticeable changes under new CEO Brian Niccol, who just announced a new return-to-office campaign for remote workers slated to begin during the new fiscal year which kicks off on Oct. 1.
"We are reestablishing our in-office culture because we do our best work when we’re together," Niccol said in a statement. "We share ideas more effectively, creatively solve hard problems, and move much faster. Being in person also helps us build and strengthen our culture. As we work to turn the business around, all these things matter more than ever."
The company is also changing over 1,000 of its locations - throwing it back to the company's coffeehouse roots. While there is is plenty of change going on within the company, Starbucks is staying true to its customers wants with its latest announcement: the return of the pumpkin spice latte.
The beloved coffee chain revealed fans can get their hands on the pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin cream cold brew, iced pumpkin cream chai and pecan crunch oatmilk latte on August 26. The unofficial start of fall will also commence with two new menu items, a pecan cortado and Italian sausage egg bites.
"For coffee fans who are celebrating #Summerween and looking for fall flavors now, Starbucks coffees and creamers in a variety of new and returning fall flavors are now available online and where groceries are sold nationwide," the company said in a statement. "And, beginning early August, Starbucks ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages are returning to grocery stores, national retailers, convenience stores and gas stations. The seasonal lineup will be available for a limited time, while supplies last."
The official start of fall isn't until the Autumnal Equinox on Sept. 22, but Starbucks is getting the party started early.
