Several major companies, including Reliance, Adani, and Mahindra, are eager to collaborate with the skill development ministry on the National Scheme for ITI Upgradation, a ₹60,000-crore initiative. These companies have expressed interest in establishing "hub and spoke ITIs" across various states and sectors to provide targeted skills training to two million youths over five years, addressing industry needs.
