One of the biggest musicians in the country recently closed a three-night stay at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium, and he brought out one of the Garden State's greatest artists for some help in the finale.

During his final show at MetLife on Sunday night, Zach Bryan surprised the crowd with an appearance from legendary musician Bruce Springsteen. The pair was also joined by Caleb Followill from Kings of Leon, and they performed a few numbers together.

Fittingly, the trio began with “Atlantic City” from Springsteen's 1982 album "Nebraska."

A few songs later, they returned to perform Bryan's song "Revival" as the encore to close out the show.

“One of the greatest men to ever exist, a New Jersey native, Mr. Bruce Springsteen,” Bryan said as he welcomed Springsteen to the stage. Springsteen has joined Bryan on stage before, including multiple stops along the East coast.

Maggie Rogers joined them on stage in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center, and "The Boss" helped Bryan wow the crowd at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia last summer.

Bryan has praised Springsteen for his ability to blend multiple genres into his work, allowing for more creativity and different kinds of sounds.

“That’s where I’m at in my own career right now. I love country music, but I also love an assortment of stuff — Kings of Leon, Jason Isbell, all those guys. I don’t want to be a country musician. Everyone calls me it. I want to be a songwriter, and you’re quintessentially a songwriter," he told Springsteen in a Rolling Stone interview last year.

"No one calls Bruce Springsteen a freaking rock musician, which you are one, but you’re also an indie musician, you’re also a country musician. You’re all these things encapsulated in one man. And that’s what songwriting is.”

Bryan will take a short break from the tour before heading to stops in Colorado and California. He'll head to two major venues in the fall, with stops at Notre Dame Stadium in Indiana and Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

With Springsteen by his side and major tour venues lined up, it seems that the sky is the limit for Zach Bryan.
