Church Point police seek Albert Fruge in June shooting case

CHURCH POINT, La. (KLFY) - Church Point Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a June shooting.

Police say they are looking for Albert Fruge, 33, of Church Point. He is wanted in connection to a shooting incident which occurred on June 19, 2025, on Horecky St.

Authorities say the suspect was sent to the hospital that day with non-life-threatening injuries. Following further investigation warrants were issued for Fruge's arrest. He is wanted for Aggravated Assault with Firearm, Illegal use and Discharge of Firearm, and Disturbing the Peace by Fighting.
