RUFARO RUMBLE, Bosso eye CAPS scalp as PSL action heats up

THE Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) drama continues this afternoon with Highlanders invading Rufaro Stadium for a mouthwatering mid-table clash against CAPS United.
Kick-off is at 3PM and while the title race may be slipping out of reach for both clubs, this one’s about bragging rights, pride and sending a message, especially with only three points separating the two giants.
Highlanders, sitting on 28 points in ninth, are looking to climb out of the league’s traffic jam and regain consistency. CAPS United, still smarting from a midweek defeat to Ngezi Platinum, are itching to bounce back and prove their revival under Ian Bakala is no fluke.
“It’s a big game for both teams,” Bakala said. “It has been a long time since Highlanders dominated us and we want to move up the table.”
Bosso gaffer Try Ncube is even more upbeat.
“The boys are raring to go. We know CAPS won’t be easy but we are Highlanders. We fight. We’re going there to get a result.”
The Rufaro showdown headlines today’s PSL Super Sunday, which also features:
• Chicken Inn vs Dynamos at Barbourfields, a make-or-break for Dembare’s relegation fight
• Manica Diamonds vs Simba Bhora at Sakubva
• Triangle vs Bikita Minerals at Gibbo
And just when you think it’s over, Monday brings Scottland vs Yadah under the Rufaro lights.
Can Bosso break the CAPS curse? Will Dynamos bounce back at Emagumeni? Stay glued to ZTN Prime and Zimpapers TV Network digital platforms for all the action.
PSL fans, buckle up. It’s going to be a chaotic football fiesta!
