DEMBARE DISASTER, Gamecocks feast on Harare giants in 3–0 mauling at Emagumeni

CHICKEN Inn served up sizzling football and a heavy helping of humiliation as they thrashed a clueless Dynamos 3–0 in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League relegation six-pointer at Barbourfields Stadium.
Goals from Lynoth Chikuhwa, Mpumelelo Bhebhe and substitute Michael Charamba helped the Gamecocks secure all three points and climb to 26, while Dynamos remain stuck on 16 and rooted second from bottom with a horrifying –15 goal difference.
Joey Antipas could barely hide his relief at the final whistle — but it was heartbreak and havoc for DeMbare fans, who forced open exit gates and caused a mini-stampede at the Mpilo End with 15 minutes still to play. Police had to step in to calm tensions as angry supporters turned their fury toward the club’s leadership.
It all began in the 21st minute when Chikuhwa, on loan from Scottland, rifled home from inside the box to open the scoring. Bhebhe doubled the lead just before the break, tapping in from a well-placed George Majika corner.
Charamba, who came on at halftime, killed the contest with a composed finish to make it 3–0 — a scoreline that could have been much worse had Chicken Inn been more clinical.
It was a nightmare for Dynamos, who missed several chances and looked shaky in defence. Wisdom Mtasa, Tellmore Pio, and even second-half sub Valentine Kadonzvo all missed sitters that could have changed the story.
DeMbare did show some early signs of life, with Shadreck Nyahwa and Emmanuel Jalai pumping decent crosses into the box, but Joseph Tulani, Irvin Mukombwe, and Malvin Hwata nearly added more salt to the wounds as Chicken Inn dominated the flanks and midfield.
Hwata, despite his overall impact, missed an empty net at the stroke of half-time after rounding the keeper — a moment that summed up the drama of a pulsating encounter.
Dynamos keeper Tatenda Makoni was left exposed time and again, while at the other end Donovan Bernard kept things tight with a spectacular save to deny Kadonzvo midway through the second half.
As the final whistle blew, a loud roar erupted from the Chicken Inn fans — and silence from the Dynamos faithful, who now stare relegation in the face.

Can Kaindu stop the bleeding or is DeMbare headed for the dustbin of PSL history?
