In the carousel, Reese captioned selfies with her kids with sentiments about spending time together in trailers on film sets and on the road together regularly. She also showed a screenshot of a text message from one of her kids giving her “career advice” when they humorously showed her that she had accidentally gone “live” on Instagram without realizing it.
On another slide, Reese got honest about the hard aspects of balancing a career with being a mother, but shared how she tried to stay positive for her kids.
“I’d cry working 14 to 17 hours, sometimes all night long and still woke up early for carpool. I was deliriously tired,” Reese captioned the photos. ““It looked like trying to say something positive about work when I got home at night. So my kids would know that my work was meaningful to me and could be fun!”
At the end of the carousel of photos, Reese shared, “In conclusion, even though it was challenging at times, having kids gave me perspective about what was important in life.”
