An Israeli citizen detained in Lebanon has been returned home after more than a year, according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office. The man, identified as Salah Abu-Hussein, is an Arab citizen of Israel. His imprisonment had not been publicly known in either country. Israeli media reported that his family had reported him missing about a year ago. Lebanese officials said he entered the country illegally. His release was negotiated secretly over the past few months with the Red Cross. On Thursday, Lebanese authorities handed him over at the Rosh Hanikra crossing. There has been no official comment from the Lebanese government.
