San Rafael fire prompts multiple alarms

A multi-alarm fire in San Rafael’s Canal neighborhood drew significant response from Marin agencies on Thursday morning.

The San Rafael Police Department posted that the public should stay clear of the 500 and 600 block of Canal Street, as well as Harbor Street, Hoag Street and Medway Road. According to the post, the fire “is currently being contained by fire personnel.”
