An Indian Anti-Terrorism Squad team is in Baku to facilitate the extradition of gangster Mayank Singh, wanted for numerous crimes across India and associated with Lawrence Bishnoi. Singh's arrest in Azerbaijan and impending extradition highlight the security cooperation between India and Azerbaijan. Previously, another gangster, Sanjeev Kumar, was also deported from Azerbaijan to India.
