The Love Island USA Reunion Won’t Be Easy for Huda Fans
If Love Island USA season six went Beyond the Villa, the season-seven cast is taking it further. At the August 25 reunion, hosted by licensed therapists Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen, the islanders have to confront their actions in and out of the villa — starting with rumors winner Bryan cheated on Amaya “Papaya.” Get him, Ariana. Though they had over a month to hash it out offline, the trailer leads with beef between OG cast members. Jeremiah and Ace go at it on a level playing field (seated) to address who really controlled the fateful dumping, while Nic manages to “Mommy’s Little” goofball his way out of blame. Then, we see the second- and third-place men backing up Olandria and Chelley as they tearfully address Huda’s bullying allegations and the racist backlash they suffered from it. “That shit hurt, bro,” Olandria’s voice cracks. “We was close, and you didn’t ever speak up for me.” Huda, meanwhile, sobs through apologies. Oh, it’s all coming offline and getting real.
Before the dumped Islanders are erased from your memory completely, we’ll also hear from several, including Austin and Belle-A, about what they’ve been up to together (cue Jaden’s eyes popping out from under her signature eyeliner), how Hannah feels about Iris and Pepe, and Chris’s straight shooting about Huda’s comments in the press. “I don’t respect it,” the man of few words offers up. And not too much on Huda, but there will be an extended viewing of the controversial “Heart Rate Challenge,” where she’s accused of doing too much on Chelley’s man. What’s Ace and his glasses got to say about that?
