Nikola Zigic's on the whistle ratings (10 replies)
Cochrane- Roasted, wasteful on the ball first half. Better second half. Can do what he want due to no competition.
Klarer- Looks uncomfortable on the left, ball playing slowed down due to wrong side. Very strong defensively.
Neumann- Wasteful on the ball. Patchy defensively.
Laird- Excellent.
Paik- Ok, didn't do much wrong, didn't create anything at all.
Iwata- Ok. Ran around a bit. Some good tackles. Can also do what he wants as he's got no competition.
Doyle- Poor. Lightweight performance. Not sure what he was supposed to do? He's demonstrably good so I'd say it's our fault not his.
Gray- Blunt.
Roberts- Tried but seemed to run into blind alleys. Will be better.
Stansfield- The only one who plays like he's had his breakfast. The rest of the attacking players could learn something.
Bright - Bright. Showed drive. Refreshing.
Ducksch- WTF? Looks to be on another planet and not in a good way. When do we expect him to be up to speed?
Kyogo- Nice movement but little else.
Leonard- What was the point?
Overall:
- Stoke didn't have a shot on target after the goal I think
- If you looked up Toothless in the dictionary you'd see this Blues side
- As I've said all summer, we lacked physical, imposing options to use in away games like this. We inexplicably ignored my advice.
- Kone scored again today but we apparently knew better
- Early days but the signs suggest we are a soft touch away from home.
- Keen to see what he does to change things because I can't see anything obvious.
- Fantastic support as always
- Let's see Davies earn his money
