'TRON: Ares' Gets New Character Posters, Cast Tease IMAX Experience

Jared Leto, Greta Lee and more are featured on new character posters for the upcoming TRON: Ares!

Disney recently unveiled the individual posters for six of the characters, including returning Kevin Flynn, played by Jeff Bridges.

“TRON: Ares was filmed specifically for IMAX, which is really the way it was meant to be experienced,” star and producer Jared Leto said.

“You hear it a lot about movies, like, ‘Oh, it feels like a ride.’ No, no, no, no. This is a ride,” Greta Lee added.

“With Tron, it was important for me to create something new. Especially for IMAX… taking Tron into the real world,” director Joachim Rønning shared. “When you’re sitting in an IMAX theater, it’s such an immersive experience. And with the sound and the music by Nine Inch Nails.”

TRON: Ares also stars Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro and Cameron Monaghan, and is slated to hit theaters on October 10th!

The upcoming movie “follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.” Check out the new IMAX trailer here…
