Emmys 2025: Stars Support Palestine On Red Carpet And During Ceremony
A number of stars used their appearance at this year’s Emmys to share their solidarity with Palestine amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
On the red carpet, a number of guests, including multiple nominees, were seen sporting red Artists4Ceasefire pins that have become prevalent at awards seasons in the last two years.
These included White Lotus stars Natasha Rothwell and Aimee Lou Wood, as well as Ruth Negga and Chris Perfetti.
Hacks and Too Much star Megan Stalter was also among the stars sporting a ceasefire pin, as well as posing for photographers with a handbag on which she’d written the message: “Cease fire!”
Meanwhile, Javier Bardem arrived at the awards show sporting a traditional Palestinian keffiyeh, and spoke out in support of Palestine during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Wrapping up her acceptance speech, she declared: “Go Birds, fuck ICE and free Palestine.”

Speaking backstage after her win, Hannah told reporters: “I thought it was important to talk about Palestine because it’s an issue that’s very dear to my heart.
“I have friends in Gaza who are working as frontline workers, as doctors, right now, in the North of Gaza, to provide care for pregnant women and for schoolchildren to create schools in the refugee camps.”
Hannah continued: “I feel like it is my obligation as a Jewish person to distinguish Jews from the state of Israel, because our religion and our culture is such an important and long-standing institution that is really separate to this sort of ethnonationalist state.”
