Investigators say two boys who allegedly caused $50,000 worth of vandalism damage to a central Florida elementary school are facing charges. Their mothers turned them in to authorities Monday. The Volusia County Sheriff's Office says the 12- and 13-year-old boys broke into Friendship Elementary School in Deltona on Saturday. The sheriff's office says they returned at night to cause more damage. Video posted by the sheriff's office shows a shattered glass door, overturned tables, shredded books and graffiti. Investigators say the boys confessed to the vandalism. They were charged with burglary, trespassing, criminal mischief and theft.
