Following a surge in dog bite incidents, Uttar Pradesh has introduced new regulations for aggressive stray dogs. Unprovoked biters will undergo a 10-day observation, sterilization, and microchipping before being released. Repeat offenders will be sheltered for life unless adopted under strict conditions. A committee will determine provocation, and behavioural training will be provided for stress-related aggression.
