Steve Martin Cancels Two Shows with Martin Short After Testing Positive for COVID-19

Steve Martin has unfortunately been forced two cancel two of his comedy shows with Martin Short.

On Friday (September 19), the 80-year-old Only Murders in the Building actor announced that he was canceling his shows in Virginia Beach and Richmond, Va. because he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Keep reading to find out more…“Dear Virginia Beach and Richmond. Sadly, I have come down with Covid. I can’t possibly do the shows that you deserve,” Steve wrote on Instagram along with a photo of a sad-looking dog wearing a pair of Mickey Mouse ears.

“So Marty and I must cancel tonight & tomorrow,” he continued. “But we will return under better circumstances.????”

In a follow-up post, Steve shared a photo of his test results, indicating that he did test positive for COVID, but not the flu.

“Hey! No flu!” he joked in his caption.
