A 42-year-old farmer, Edward Kobina Asiedu, has been handed a six-month prison sentence by the Krachi District Court for inflicting severe burns on his five-year-old daughter with a red-hot spoon. Asiedu pleaded guilty to causing harm when he appeared before the court presided over by Eric Kwarteng.
