Officials say a natural gas pipeline ruptured and burst into flames in southern Wyoming, setting fire to a freight train and lighting up the night sky with a glow visible to the south in Colorado. Emergency crews responded shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday after authorities received calls about explosions heard along Interstate 80 west of Cheyenne. Laramie County Fire District #10 says flames engulfed freight cars on a Union Pacific Railroad train. It wasn’t immediately clear how many cars were damaged. There were no injuries. The National Transportation Safety Board says its investigators are expected at the scene Monday morning.
