Blake Lively Celebrates 'Gossip Girl' Anniversary, Shares Behind-the-Scenes Photos From Filming

Blake Lively is taking a trip down memory lane!

The 38-year-old actress took to Instagram on Sunday (September 21) to celebrate the 18th anniversary of one of her most popular projects – Gossip Girl, which first debuted on The CW on September 19, 2007.

“the summer gossip girl turned 18…” Blake began her caption. “This show was my college. It was my education, my social life, my hardwork, my late nights and early mornings, my teacher. New York City and Silvercup Studios (& sometimes Paris ✨) was my campus for SIX years.”

“So many memories. What. A. Decade. ???? What a University,” she added.

Throughout the photo dump of behind-the-scenes photos were images of her with co-stars like Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgely and the late Michelle Trachtenberg, as well as series creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

Blake, of course, starred as Serena van der Woodsen across all six seasons of the drama, adapted from the book series by Cecily von Ziegesar.

This past summer, Blake reunited with one of her co-stars for a commercial for her beverage brand, Betty Booze.
