Fella on WM last night said we don’t know how to create chances for him - I shouted back at the radio in my car that he’s missed 6 big chances (maybe 7 now?) more than anyone else in the division.

His movement is absolutely amazing, but what on earth is going on with him infront of goal. Another one on one last night, hesitated so long that the defender who was miles away had time to get back before he got his shot off. There’s times when the ball is at his feet that are akin to a puppy with a tennis ball. Doesn’t have it under control, and actually looks like he doesn’t know what he’s doing

Is this purely a confidence thing? At some point will “getting into the right areas” actually pay off or will he just keep fluffing his chances

We’ve had players who were genuinely shit at every aspect of being a striker, like Lee Novak and Adam Rooney but it’s pretty disconcerting having a striker where part of their game is genuinely top level and unseen at Blues for over 20 years (Forssell?) whilst having parts of his game that make him look like a competition winner
