The Orissa High Court has directed the state government and Odisha State Medical Corporation Ltd (OSMCL) to explore expedited procurement processes for medical equipment during emergencies. This directive came after the court noted a lack of clarity on emergency handling in previous affidavits concerning non-supply of equipment to SCB Medical College and Hospital.
