After being relentless sellers for a large part of the calendar year 2025, FPI numbers for October have turned positive. This is the second time that they have turned net buyers this year. Earlier, we had a similar trend in April, May, and June. Why is this important? Because, even as FPIs were selling, constant buying by DIIs had maintained some sort of equilibrium. Now with both being buyers, there will be an impact on stock prices. Also, FPIs tend to invest in certain sectors and stocks of certain caps. So, it is time to have those stocks back on your watchlist.
