Chad Michael Murray Reveals Story of How He Met His Wife Sarah Roemer

Chad Michael Murray is opening up about the start of his relationship!

The 44-year-old Freakier Friday star and wife Sarah Roemer have been married for nearly 11 years now, and share three children.

In a new interview, he dishes on how they didn’t talk when they first met and how he made the first move.

On Cosmopolitan‘s “Blind Date,” CMM shared that he and Sarah met on set, “But we never dated. We didn’t really talk to each other… ”

He continued, “I don’t even know if I’ve ever told the story. We finished filming, and I didn’t want to step on any toes. I’m just not that guy.”

She was in a relationship at the time, and he was single.

“I couldn’t get her off my mind. And so I just walked over and I said, ‘When your relationship ends—’ cause it will— ‘give me first shot at the title.’ That’s it. And I just left that little nugget and moved on. I waited for a few months, and then the phone rang.”

Chad was also asked if there was one thing his wife doesn’t know about him.

“Probably that I secretly want more kids. I think four kids would be awesome,” he revealed. “However, it’s probably not a good idea. This last one is really, oof, she’s a wild card. She’s 1. She’s the baby boss.”

Chad and Sarah met on the set of the TV series Chosen, after both joining the cast in season two. They started dating in 2014 after the series finished, and were revealed to be married in early 2015.

Later that year, they welcomed their first child, a son, followed by baby No 2, a daughter in March 2017. Then, their third child, another girl, was born in August 2023.
