A pregnant British teen arrested in Georgia on drug smuggling charges has been released from prison on Monday. Bella May Culley, 19, was arrested in May at Tbilisi Airport with marijuana and hashish. She was found guilty by a Georgian court and sentenced to five months and 25 days prison time as well as a 500,000 lari (approx $184,000) fine. Prosecutors considered a two-year sentence but decided to count the time she has already served, they said. Culley's lawyer said she would be free to leave the country. Initially facing up to life imprisonment, Culley negotiated a plea bargain. The teenager claimed she was tortured in Thailand and forced to carry the drugs.
