New escape room coming to Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Puzzle lovers and thrill-seekers of Saratoga County will have the chance to try a new interactive activity in downtown Saratoga Springs. Saratoga Escape Room is set to celebrate its grand opening on November 14.

Located on Gardner Lane, Saratoga Escape Room offers people of all ages the opportunity to sharpen their puzzle-solving skills with one-of-a-kind immersive experiences. The rooms are designed for two to eight players who have an hour to solve riddles, uncover clues, all before the time runs out.

The open room themes include Saratoga School of Magic and Echoes of the Lost Jungle. The Whispers Beneath Broadway, which is planned to open in 2026, will take escape room goers back to the evening of August 12, 1890, with a whodunit mystery centered around the United States Stakes Race.

Saratoga Escape Room is open on Wednesday and Thursday by appointment only, Friday from noon to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Bookings can be made online through the Saratoga Escape Room website, which is $100 for one to two players or $40 per person for groups of three or more.

“Escape rooms offer something totally unique and appeal to all ages for different reasons,” Co-owner Tess Goodge said. “We wanted to create something that would offer both locals and visitors a chance to connect, laugh, and make memories—right here in the heart of Saratoga.”
