Republican Brett Eby wins Saratoga County District Attorney race
SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Republican Brett Eby has won the race for Saratoga County District Attorney, according to the county Board of Elections. Eby ran against Democrat Robert Logan lll.
Eby is a Principal Court Attorney with the New York State Supreme Court and previously served as Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the New York State Attorney General. He now takes the place of District Attorney Karen Heggen, who didn't run for reelection. With all districts reporting, Eby earned an unofficial 50.8% of the vote to Logan’s 49.05%.
In his candidate interview with NEWS10, Eby said that his administration would focus on bolstering victim support services, emphasize evidence‑based prosecution, and implement bias-awareness training. He attended Western Michigan University and St. Bonaventure University.
