The German government has banned a Muslim group accused of violating human rights and democratic values. On Wednesday, authorities also conducted raids against two other Muslim groups across the country. The Interior Ministry stated that the banned group, Muslim Interaktiv, promoted antisemitism and discrimination against women and sexual minorities. The government argued the group posed a threat by promoting Islam as the sole social model and advocating for Islamic law over German law. Investigations are underway against two other groups, Generation Islam and Reality Islam. Authorities searched premises in Hamburg, Berlin, and Hesse in connection with these investigations.
