Massive fireball erupts as UPS plane crashes at Kentucky airport, leaving 7 dead and some missing

First responders are searching for more victims after at least seven people died and 11 were injured when a UPS plane crashed while taking off from the airport in Louisville, Kentucky. The plane crashed Tuesday as it was departing for Honolulu from Louisville’s Muhammad Ali International Airport. Video showed flames on the plane’s left wing and a trail of smoke. The plane then lifted slightly off the ground before crashing and exploding in a huge fireball. Video also revealed portions of a building’s shredded roof next to the end of the runway. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear says he expects the death toll to increase and said 16 families reported loved ones unaccounted for. The airport has resumed operations.
