The New York-based company said it had net income of 47 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 50 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 55 cents per share.

The producer of professional wrestling events and television shows posted revenue of $1.12 billion in the period, topping Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.08 billion.

TKO Group expects full-year revenue in the range of $4.69 billion to $4.72 billion.
