UPS and FedEx have grounded their fleets of MD-11 cargo planes following a deadly UPS crash in Louisville, Kentucky, that killed 14 people. The aircraft, carrying 38,000 gallons of fuel, burst into flames shortly after takeoff on Tuesday. Both companies said the grounding was done on Boeing’s recommendation for safety checks.
