I think it's the only bit I'm not sold on, it's not very "football" and maybe is a bit too American.

Not to sound ungrateful of course, just a bit of constructive criticism. I'd have liked something else, maybe The Garrison, but I appreciate that click be seen as pretty tacky and forced.

Obviously we'll have some naming rights attached anyway which I think may actually improve/soften it.

What do you reckon?

I'm pretty ambivalent on it.
I quite like names that come from the local area but that ship has long sailed, and it is definitely better than just being something like City of Birmingham stadium, which was the likely alternative. Plus it doesn't really matter, it will be sponsored and the formal name will hardly ever get used.

For me ‘The City of Birmingham Stadium’ would have been perfect. So simple and punchy.
