USGS science center in La Crosse set to close as research field is eliminated

U.S. Department of the Interior plans to close La Crosse's U.S.G.S. office, the Ecosystems Mission Area and more. The Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences Center is heavily involved with invasive carp studies.
