Marquay the Goat's Cause of Death May Stem From Car Accident
New details are emerging that shed light on the possible cause of death of social media influencer Marquay Collins, a TikTok food reviewer who is known as "Marquay the Goat."
His brother confirmed on Facebook that Collins, 24, had died. That has many shocked fans wondering how he died, especially since he posted a TikTok video only hours before. Collins' mother also confirmed his death to TMZ, saying that her son was “the sweetest person; he didn’t have a mean bone in his body.”
Now, TMZ is reporting that Marquay the Goat's cause of death may stem from a car accident he was in on November 7. Collins had developed a massive following on social media where fans enjoyed his humorous reviews of food and cars.
Collins had accrued 480,000 followers on Instagram, where he focused on, “Food, Reviews, Cars, Lifestyle.” He last posted a video to Instagram just hours before his death, discussing health problems with his feet. On TikTok, Marquay the Goat had almost 7 million followers.
Marquay the Goat Sustained Injuries From a Car Crash
Buddy Bryan, the Muscogee County Coroner, told TMZ that Collins was pronounced dead at home.
"However ... "Bryan says Marquay was in a car crash on November 7th and was taken to the hospital, where he was evaluated and released the same day," TMZ reported. "After returning home, he began complaining of headaches, along with neck, shoulder and spine pain."
According to TMZ, the cause of death is officially undetermined, but "Bryan believes Marquay's death is accident-related."
Marquay posted a TikTok video from the side of the road with an "ice pack pressed to his head," TMZ reported, claiming "a Tesla rammed into the back of his car."

Collins' brother Michael Frazier confirmed Collins’ death on Facebook.
"I lost my baby brother today… and the feeling is a feeling ive never felt before. I truly appreciate all the texts and the calls… im not going to be on social media for a little bit," he wrote.
"But from the depths of my soul I do appreciate the love that yall are giving my brother and that yall are showing me, my mother, father, and family…I will get to the messages as soon as I can,” he wrote.
“I know a lot have heard and im getting a lot of messages.. my baby brother Marquay did pass away this morning! Thanks for the love you showered him with throughout the years! I can’t get to everybody’s messages at the moment but I will as soon as im able to. Thanks for the love and prayers!!!” he added.
According to TMZ, an obituary for Collins says, “Marquay lived his life with passion and ambition. He was full of excitement about the future, always eager to share his plans and adventures. His hugs, his laughter, and his spontaneous calls — ‘What are we getting into this weekend?’ — will be remembered as cherished moments that captured his vibrant personality.”
