Two adjacent four-storey buildings collapsed overnight in the Moroccan city of Fez, killing 22 people on December 10. At least sixteen people were injured. Authorities said the neighbourhood has been evacuated, and search and rescue efforts are still under way. It is unclear what caused the collapse or how many people remain unaccounted for.
