India marked the 54th Vijay Diwas on Tuesday. A ceremony was held at the National War Memorial in New Delhi. This day commemorates the decisive victory of Indian Armed Forces in the 1971 War. The war led to the liberation of Bangladesh. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Tri-Service Chiefs paid homage to the brave soldiers.
