Malcolm in the Middle is making a comeback with a limited revival that revisits the popularly dysfunctional family years following the original series concluded. Malcolm, now grown and leading a quieter life, has deliberately distanced himself from his relatives. His attempts to stay removed unravel when his parents, Hal and Lois, insist he attend their 40th wedding anniversary celebration.
