Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha stated that Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami assured stringent action against those involved in the murder of Anjel Chakma. The 24-year-old student succumbed to injuries after an attack on December 9. Five of the six accused have been arrested, with efforts underway to apprehend the sixth.
