Ten nations urge Israel to lift Gaza aid restrictions

The foreign ministers of ten countries have issued a joint statement warning that Gaza's humanitarian crisis is worsening and calling on Israel to remove barriers that are blocking vital aid from reaching civilians.

The statement, published on 30 December by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, was signed by the foreign ministers of Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Japan, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
