'Will Trent' Season 4: ABC Debuts Trailer For Upcoming New Season - Watch Now!

Will Trent is returning to television next week!

The ABC drama series, starring Ramon Rodriguez in the titular role, is based on the bestselling book series by Karin Slaughter.

Here’s a synopsis: Special Agent Will Trent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was abandoned at birth and endured a harsh coming-of-age in Atlanta’s overwhelmed foster care system. Now, Will uses his unique point of view in the pursuit of justice and has the highest clearance rate in the GBI.

The new trailer teases more tension between Will and James Ulster (Greg Germann), who escapes from prison and, of course, causes problems for Will.

In the season premiere, “… Speaking of Sharks,” five months after the attack on the GBI, a figure from Will’s past escapes prison, forcing him to defy orders and launch a search that rips open old wounds and threatens to destroy everything he’s fought to rebuild.

Also reprising their roles as series regulars include Erika Christensen, Iantha Richardson, Jake McLaughlin and Sonja Sohn, as well as Kevin Daniels, who was promoted for the new season. Margaret Cho will also be back as Dr Roach, as she is seen in the trailer.

Will Trent season four will premiere on Tuesday, January 6th at 8pm ET/PT on ABC, and streaming next day on Hulu.
