Heated Rivalry was the topic of conversation on New Year’s Eve!
On Wednesday night (December 31), Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper once again teamed up to host CNN’s annual New Year’s Eve Live.
At one point during the night, Anderson, 58, admitted he felt a little strange about sleeping in the bed Andy, 57, gave him.
“Just the bed frame. I didn’t give you the mattress,” Andy clarified. “I thought it made us closer, like better brothers.”
As they playfully bickered, Anderson joked, “This isn’t Heated Rivalry.”

“Of the two of us, you’re Ilya and I’m Shane,” Andy confidently said, but Anderson didn’t like that answer.
“What?!” Anderson exclaimed, before adding, “I’m not either of them. I’m Kip.”
Heated Rivalry came up again during the broadcast when Brandi Carlile made a virtual appearance.
“Do lesbians give a damn about the Canadian hockey gay romance series, Heated Rivalry?” Andy asked the openly out Grammy-winning singer.
“It’s all I can think about. It’s all I can think about. I can’t even sleep at night without thinking about [the show],” Brandi answered, which caused Anderson to burst out giggling.
