Jharkhand's 108 ambulance service recorded a significant surge in road accident calls on New Year's Eve, with 345 incidents reported, primarily due to drunk and rash driving. Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences also saw a 10% increase in trauma cases compared to the previous year, though no fatalities were reported.
