A committee will be formed to identify and honor families of those killed in the 1948 Kharsawan police firing, Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced. The committee aims to compile a comprehensive list of victims and ensure their descendants receive due recognition and benefits. The state government intends to complete this identification process before January 1, 2027.
