Gerrard would have his plus points (not sure what they are) but I think Davies needs a chance to sort this out.

I understand some will say he has had long enough. Over the busy festive period we have had four of our best players missing for one or two (or three) games and it has completely upset the balance even in our home games. Gray, Doyle, Klarer and Stansfield have been big misses. Get them all back in the new year and see if he is willing to take the shackles off away from home. Again I understand these players have not been missing for the duration of our wretched away run but maybe something has clicked in his mind after watching the Watford game from the rafters.

I fear the board will react if we lose to Coventry and I am so torn as to whether it will be a good choice or not.
