Freeride’s Biggest Fiesta is Back for 2026

0

Freeride Fiesta has marked its return for 2026, and with a little more than three weeks until showtime, the biggest freeride event in Latin America is set to come back in all-time fashion. With a newly renovated course, an all-new lineup of riders, and the same culture-forward format we know and love, this year’s event is shaping up to be a good one.

If you’ve been paying attention over the last few winters, you already know the formula: huge jumps, a weeklong jam vibe, and a public day that feels less like an event and more like a cultural exchange between the global freeride scene and the local community that’s helped build it. Set against the iconic sunsets of La Soledad Bike Park outside of Guadalajara, the event hosts riders from across the globe while ensuring that community and culture remain at the forefront of the festivities.

And if you haven’t been paying attention, Freeride Fiesta has been quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) becoming one of the most important freeride gatherings in Latin America—largely because it’s never tried to be a contest. From day one, Freeride Fiesta has been about the people. It’s a cultural exchange of sorts, bringing together some of the top names in the sport with the local community. The event offers locals a front-row seat to the true spirit of freeride, with the ultimate goal of expanding the riding scene in Latin America and beyond.

In the announcement post, organizers doubled down on that original mission: giving up-and-comers a legitimate stage to be seen. This year’s roster features some of the most talented rising riders in the sport—like 11-year-old freeride sensation Weston Lukens—alongside long-standing figureheads such as Antoine Bizet, Clemens Kaudela, Szymon Godziek, and the man behind the event, Johny Salido.

Beyond the massive airtime, the experience extends far past the riding itself. With food vendors, athlete meet-and-greets, mariachi bands, and an all-day party vibe, Freeride Fiesta is truly one of a kind. Freeride in 2026 doesn’t need more polished contest formats. It needs places where culture can thrive and riders can experiment—where younger riders can get real reps on real features, and where the sport’s community isn’t separated from the riding.

Now in its sixth iteration, Freeride Fiesta has been doing exactly that—quietly building bridges between scenes, countries, and generations—while keeping things fun enough that riders want to stay for the whole week and return year after year.
