Stefon Diggs Breaks His Silence on Allegations He Strangled His Personal Chef

Stefon Diggs is speaking out after he was charged with strangulation and assault.

Earlier this week, the 32-year-old New England Patriots wide receiver’s former personal chef claims he slapped her and tried to choke her out over a salary dispute.

During a press conference on Friday (January 2), Stefon broke his silence spoke to reporters for the first time since he was charged.

Keep reading to find out more…“I want to say I’m sorry I wasn’t available [to the media] for those couple of days, it was a different kind of time, dealing with everything, but it’s definitely an open case, so I can’t even say anything about it,” Stefon told reporters, per WCVB5.

“I will be open to any football questions, anything you want to know,” he continued. “I don’t want to be rude or disrespectful in any way, so if anybody’s going to ask me a question pertaining to it, I’m just obviously going to be like, look.”

When asked about blocking out distractions amid the NFL season, Stefon said, “We all deal with life stuff, family stuff… It’s just, you know, being a football team is hard. We band together, you lean on your brothers, you know, the people you spend the most time with, for me, you know, I’ve been dealing with [expletive] my whole life, you know, nothing new to me. So, you know, I just got to roll with the punches, be as positive as I can and, you know, it’s definitely something you always got to adjust to.”

Stefon also said that he wants to continue to be a leader on the field and finish the season strong.
