Hermes orange, Valentino red, Bottega Veneta green, many fashion houses have a signature color. Yohji Yamamoto’s preferred hue is black. “Black is modest and arrogant at the same time,” Yamamoto famously said. “Black is lazy and easy—but mysterious. But above all black says this: 'I don’t bother you, don’t bother me.'”
So it will come as no surprise that his new collaboration with Hublot is an all black watch. Known as the the Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo, the piece is an exercise in monochromatic minimalism. The 42mm micro blasted, matte black ceramic case seems to soak up light rather than reflect it. Hublot’s signature screws are constructed in titanium and then flat-black plated, as are the hands, bolstering the effect. Framed by the lusterless black case and capped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the camo dial gives the piece dynamic texture, which shifts as light moves across the pattern.

Applied indexes add depth to the surface, which is signed by both Hublot at 12 o’clock and Yohji Yamamoto just above 6. A smoked sapphire caseback reveals the MHUB1110 Hublot automatic calibre and its skeletonized rotor. The movement offers a date complication, visible at three o’clock, and a 48-hour power reserve. The piece comes on a textured strap crafted from fabric and rubber with a black-plated steel deployant buckle, lending a classic Hublot sport watch fit and feel.
“For Yohji Yamamoto, black reveals what truly matters, it purifies form, letting silhouette and texture speak, " says Hublot CEO Julien Tornare. “At Hublot, we treat black as a living material, sculpted, layered, folded where each surface interacts differently with light. This project marks our very first collaboration on a Classic Fusion model, and together, we share the belief that luxury is not what shines, but what endures.”
The Hublot Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo is limited to 300 pieces worldwide and will be available for purchase on January 7, 2026 for $12,100 at hublot.com.
